The Guardian G1540BA-R Aquasep is a bacteriostatic water preservative additive for Guardian portable eyewash stations. Each case includes four 8 oz. (236 mL) bottles. One bottle treats up to 20 gallons of clean potable water and helps preserve the flushing fluid for up to 6 months.
Aquasep helps protect stored potable water in portable eyewash tanks against the growth of bacteria, fungus, algae, and acanthamoeba. It is designed for self-contained Guardian eyewash units where water may sit in the tank between scheduled refills and maintenance checks.
How To Use Guardian G1540BA-R Aquasep
- Fill the portable eyewash tank with clean potable water.
- Add one full 8 oz. bottle of Guardian G1540BA-R Aquasep.
- Follow the operation and maintenance manual for your specific Guardian eyewash unit.
- Inspect and maintain the station according to your facility safety program, the unit manual, and applicable ANSI Z358.1 practices.
- Drain, clean, refill, and add a new bottle according to the manufacturer’s recommended maintenance schedule.
