The Guardian G1562HAT Portable Eyewash and Drench Hose Unit combines dual eyewash spray heads with a drench hose, all mounted on a durable stainless steel 15-gallon pressurized tank and wheeled hand truck for easy transport. The unit delivers approximately 10 gallons of usable water, providing 15 minutes of continuous eyewash flow at 0.65 gpm. The dual GS-Plus spray heads feature flip-top dust covers, internal flow controls, and filters, while the drench hose includes a single GS-Plus spray head on a 5 ft reinforced PVC hose with self-closing valve for added flexibility. A ½″ IPS chrome-plated brass stay-open ball valve with flag handle ensures reliable operation.

When filled, the tank weighs 156 lb (75 lb empty), and the hand truck mount makes positioning simple even in challenging environments. The G1562HAT is ideal for areas where a plumbed water supply is not available, delivering ANSI Z358.1-2014 compliant emergency eyewash and drench hose coverage. Each unit comes with an ANSI-compliant identification sign and inspection tag.

Application:
Portable eyewash/drench hose unit uses air pressure to deliver 10 gallons (37.5 liters) of water for 15 minutes. Designed for use in areas where a continuous water supply is not available. Unit is mounted on a two-wheel hand truck for easy transport and positioning.

Installation:
Place unit in any area where hazards are present. To prepare for use, fill with 10 gallons (37.5 L) of clean potable water and add the supplied bacteriostatic additive, which protects against bacteria, fungus, algae, and acanthamoeba. After filling, pressurize to 80 PSI (5.5 bar).

Hand Truck:
Mounted on a two-wheel hand truck with painted steel frame, handles, and (2) rubber wheels. Unit is secured to the truck with a clamp for stability.

Tank:
15 gallon (56 L) stainless steel tank with built-in carrying handles, air intake valve, pressure gauge, and pressure relief valve.

Eyewash:
Provides 15 minutes of eyewash using (2) GS-Plus low flow spray heads with flip-top dust covers, integral flow controls, and filters. Equipped with a ½” IPS chrome-plated brass stay-open ball valve with flag handle. Hands-free operation once activated.

Drench Hose:
For rinsing eyes, face, or body. Furnished with a single GS-Plus spray head, self-closing valve, and 5 ft (1.5 m) reinforced PVC hose.

Discharge Time:
Eyewash delivers 0.65 gpm (2.46 L/min) for 15 minutes. Drench hose delivers 1.7 gpm (6.4 L/min) for 6 minutes. Flow times are reduced if both are used simultaneously.
